Senior Data Engineer

Role Summary

Primary Skills:- Azure Data Factory & ETL Pipeline Development

• Databricks (PySpark/SQL)
• Cloud Data Integration & Optimization

Responsibilities - Lead the design and execution of data archiving solutions for non-SAP applications to Alibaba Cloud using .NET, SQL, Microsoft Power Apps, and Azure

• Analyze existing systems, document functional designs, and validate data integrity through rigorous testing
• Develop and optimize scalable ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory for seamless data migration and storage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data issues and implement risk-mitigation strategies
• Stay informed about industry trends by adopting Azure components and Databricks best practices

Requirements - 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering with a focus on ETL pipeline development and data model design

• Proven track record in building Azure-based ETL solutions with at least 1 project lasting over 6 months
• Strong coding skills in PySpark and SQL with familiarity in Databricks, certification preferred
• Proficiency in Azure services including Virtual Machines, Linked Services, and Identity Access Management
• Independent problem-solver with a proactive mindset and ability to thrive under pressure
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering error-free code
