We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a technology team focused on building modern, scalable, analytics-driven data platforms.

This role will play a central role in the design and optimization of data pipelines and cloud architectures, ensuring the availability of reliable and prepared data to support strategic decisions and data-driven solutions.

About Opportunity

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing data pipelines and scalable architectures in cloud environments.

You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams — including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders — to ensure data is transformed into actionable insights and high-impact solutions.

You will also take an active role in defining data engineering, governance and automation best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT);
  • Build scalable data architectures for business analytics and intelligence;
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams on data-driven solutions;
  • Ensure quality, integrity and availability of data;
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows;
  • Optimize performance and cost efficiency in cloud environments;
  • Define and promote good data governance and data management practices;
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and modernization of data platforms.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer;
  • Strong command of SQL and Python;
  • Solid experience with Databricks;
  • Practical experience with ETL/ELT, CI/CD and Terraform processes;
  • Experience in cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS;
  • Knowledge of data modeling methodologies (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault);
  • Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Spotfire or Power BI);
  • Knowledge in predictive modeling;
  • Experience with Snowflake;
  • Fluency in English (oral and written).
