Senior Cybersecurity Engineer / SOC- Experte / -Architect (m/w/d)

Role Summary

• You support us in fending off cyber attacks on our customers' IT/OT infrastructure and thereby avoiding existential damage
• In addition, you are responsible for the optimization, further development and operation of our NextGen SOC
• You develop detection and response measures and are responsible for implementing state-of-the-art security solutions in our highly automated SOC
• Optimizing threat detection measures as well as processing security incidents and initiating incident response measures are easy for you
• Driving transformation projects in the Security Operation Center (SOC) area as well as supporting and carrying out threat hunting round off your profile
• What you definitely don't have to do with us: Forward tickets or process false positives all day long
• Flexibility: Your activities include both hybrid working and on-site work

Requirements

• Completed studies in IT security, (business) computer science, mathematics, a comparable degree or comparable professional training with several years of professional experience
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the Security Operations Center (SOC) - beyond pure 1st and 2nd level support, ideally with a focus on SIEM, incident response, threat hunting and use case development
• At least 2 years of practical experience with Elastic (ELK Stack), especially in the application for security monitoring and log analysis
• Experience in setting up, operating and architecting SOCs, including automation of processes (e.g. with SOAR technologies)
• Very good knowledge of IT security and IT infrastructures, including network protocols, operating systems, cloud environments and security standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST)
• Understanding of the interface between IT and business, including the ability to assess risks and prioritize security-relevant topics
• Confident dealing with customers, including experience in presales, advice and presentation of technical solutions.
• Team orientation and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Very good knowledge of German (from C1 level) as well as knowledge of English
