Senior Cost Control Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Control Engineer to join our dynamic EPC team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will play a key role in monitoring, managing, and controlling project costs to ensure financial efficiency and adherence to budgets throughout the project lifecycle.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement cost control systems and procedures to monitor project expenditures.- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for EPC projects.- Analyze project cost reports and data to identify cost variances and recommend corrective actions.- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.- Review and approve cost control documentation and change orders.- Forecast budget trends and risks and advise management on cost-saving opportunities.- Lead cost control meetings and provide timely cost reports to stakeholders.- Ensure compliance with company and industry standards related to cost control and financial management.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost control within EPC or construction industries.- Strong knowledge of cost control methodologies, tools, and software.- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and produce insightful reports.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.- Willingness to relocate to Kuwait and adapt to local working conditions.
