Senior Consultant Transport Digital Maintenance (m/w/d)

Role Summary

In this role, you will actively shape the digital future of maintenance by supporting our customers in operating plants, vehicles and technical systems more efficiently, safely and sustainably

You analyze existing maintenance, malfunction and asset data and derive data-based optimization concepts from it, ranging from predictive maintenance approaches to holistic digital maintenance strategies

You will specifically promote the use of modern technologies such as IoT sensors, condition monitoring, data platforms and AI-supported analyzes and develop innovative solutions together with our customers

Working closely with technical experts, IT teams and operational maintenance departments of our customers, you will ensure that technical requirements are translated into sustainable digital solutions

You take responsibility for the project holistically by structuring requirements, moderating stakeholders, preparing decisions and presenting results clearly and convincingly

Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on our customers and your project situation - you work throughout Germany in our offices, at the customer's site and from home

Requirements

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, transportation, engineering, industrial engineering, maintenance technology or a comparable field
• You have several years of experience in the maintenance of vehicles, systems or technical systems in the transport environment, ideally with a strong connection to digital processes or IT-supported systems
• You have in-depth knowledge of common maintenance and asset management systems, such as SAP MM, SAP PM, SAP EAM, solutions such as IBM Maximo or comparable platforms
• In addition, you are very familiar with established maintenance and asset management methods such as preventative, condition-based or predictive maintenance and use them confidently
• One of your strengths is the safe handling of data by analyzing fault, usage and condition data and deriving well-founded insights for optimization
• With your strong communication skills, you moderate workshops, bring technical and operational stakeholders together and explain complex contexts in an understandable way
• Very good knowledge of German at C1 level and good knowledge of English round off your profile
