Senior Consultant IT Management Consulting (m/w/d)

Role Summary

• You support the digital transformation of our customers and lead IT projects to success from conception to implementation
• In addition, you will strengthen our management consulting team in the CIO Advisory area with your expertise
• In addition, you will manage (partial) projects with interdisciplinary teams for customers from all industries and speak the language of IT

You develop and implement strategic, organizational and procedural solutions together with other team members and our customers to current technological or commercial challenges

You are also responsible for the conception, preparation and implementation of workshops for our customers and represent Sopra Steria Next

Finally, you will help write studies and articles on the status quo and future of different industries and relevant (IT) topics

Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on our customers and your project situation - you work throughout Germany in our offices, at the customer's site and from home

Requirements

• You have successfully completed a degree in economics, (business) computer science or a comparable degree
• You also have at least 3 years of professional experience in the areas of IT transformation, IT strategy, digital process management or IT performance management
• The prerequisite for this position is proven experience in IT management consulting, in-house consulting or relevant project experience in IT organizations
• In addition, you have extensive experience in managing and implementing projects including planning, coordination with an understanding of IT organizations and technological developments
• Ideally, you have initial certifications in project or process management
• You have strong critical and analytical thinking skills to find innovative and efficient solutions to complex issues
• You think in strategic contexts and understand how to recognize and specifically address the challenges of our customers at decision-making level
• You have strong team player skills for working in multifunctional teams, leading project teams, as well as strong presentation and communication skills coupled with a high level of persuasion
• Good knowledge of German (from B2 level) and knowledge of English round off your profile
