Role Summary

For you, music is not just a genre. You know who is relevant right now, which artists will be popular tomorrow and why some brands are credible in pop culture - and others aren't.

You know the mechanics of the entertainment industry, have a good feel for people and trends and can inspire brands about music, artists and cultural topics.

Kruger Media is an independent communications agency at the intersection of PR, social media, content, entertainment and pop culture. We bring brands, people and stories together and our customers onto the stages and into the relevant conversations. Our customers include Deutsche Telekom, Kia, Casio, Amazon Music, Shokz as well as festivals and entertainment formats.

For our team we are looking for an experienced personality who understands music & entertainment, can provide strategic advice and is interested in developing new stories together with us. You don't just do project management. You advise, are a sparring partner and provide inspiration when it comes to music, entertainment and pop culture.

Responsibilities

  • You advise our customers strategically on music & entertainment, artist relations, collaborations and cultural topics
  • Together with the team, you will develop ideas and concepts that position brands relevantly in the music and entertainment world, and present them confidently to customers and partners
  • You recognize cultural developments early and identify artists, talents, partners, formats and trends that suit our customers
  • You develop artist and brand collaborations from the initial idea to implementation
  • You actively contribute your network, expand it and have conversations with artists, management, labels, organizers, festivals and media
  • You support pitches, new business and the development of new business areas
  • You take responsibility for your topics and customers without sinking into classic project management structures
  • You will work closely with our PR, social media, content and creator relations teams

Requirements

  • Even more important than a perfect CV: you are curious, have attitude, know the scene and can explain to us why something is relevant at the moment.
  • Several years of professional experience in music, entertainment, brand communication, agencies, media, artist management, labels, festivals or a comparable environment
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry, a very good feel for relevant artists and developments as well as a reliable network in the music and entertainment world
  • Experience in strategically advising customers and dealing with different stakeholders
  • Strong conceptual skills and enjoy turning a brief into a good idea
  • Confident appearance, very good presentation and communication skills and the ability to inspire people with ideas
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and a good feel for new business opportunities
  • An independent, structured way of working and at the same time a desire for teamwork
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Willingness to travel and desire to be where music and entertainment takes place

Benefits

  • A responsible position with a lot of creative freedom
  • Exciting projects at the intersection of brands, music, entertainment and pop culture
  • Direct contact with artists, brands, partners and industry personalities
  • A creative team with short decision-making processes and plenty of space for your own ideas
  • Flexible, hybrid working from our office in Berlin-Mitte and the home office
  • Modern work equipment, Germany ticket and monthly benefits in kind
  • Internal and external workshops as well as joint Kruger Days
  • Opportunities for personal and professional development
  • A permanent permanent position
  • We are all fans. About music, art and brands. We live the #crewgers spirit. Send us your CV and a few words about it: Which artist or brand collaboration recently impressed you and why?
  • Make some noise! We look forward to your application.
  • The call for applications is aimed at all people, regardless of gender, origin, age, religion, disability or sexual identity.
