Role Summary

You are responsible for advising our customers on the creation and implementation of data protection concepts based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and other customer-specific regulatory requirements

With your expertise, you will develop and analyze technical and organizational measures (TOMs) and support the development and operation of data protection management systems

Your area of responsibility also includes carrying out data protection-relevant risk and protection needs analyses, as well as threshold value analyzes and data protection impact assessments

Finally, you will advise and support our customers in the creation of order processing contracts, blocking and deletion concepts as well as rights and role concepts

Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on our customers and your project situation - you work throughout Germany in our offices, at the customer's site and from home

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a degree in (business) computer science, law or a comparable degree
  • In addition, you have several years of professional and project experience, preferably in external consulting, with a focus on data protection
  • You have extensive know-how in creating data protection concepts, carrying out threshold analyzes and data protection impact assessments and creating lists of procedures for order processing or AV contracts
  • You have knowledge of information security and the identification of appropriate technical and organizational measures (TOMs).
  • Valid certification in the area of data protection, e.g. GDD, CIPP/E, CIPM, data protection auditor or data protection officer is a prerequisite for this position
  • Knowledge of project management and certification, e.g. IPMA, Prince2, GPM or comparable are desirable
  • Good knowledge of German and English (from B2 level) rounds off your profile
