Senior Consultant Cloud Microsoft Azure (m/w/d)

Role Summary

Design the next generation of digital solutions with us – with cloud, data and AI.

You shape the further development of modern cloud and AI architectures based on Microsoft Azure - from the strategic target architecture to successful implementation for the customer. You will develop scalable, secure and automatable platforms for demanding requirements and bring modern topics such as Cloud Native, DevSecOps as well as Data & AI and Generative AI into concrete solutions.

You design and modernize Microsoft Azure architectures, platforms and services for different industries. A focus is on the design of sovereign (multi-)cloud environments with the Microsoft Sovereignty Cloud and Delos

You develop AI-ready cloud architectures and evaluate how technologies such as Azure AI Services, Generative AI, analytics, microservices or container platforms can be meaningfully integrated into customer landscapes

You define and establish best practices for architecture, governance, security, automation and operations

Together with the departments, development teams and other stakeholders, you plan and manage changes, releases and transformations

You identify optimization potential in existing environments - for example in stability, performance, security, scalability, cost structure and level of automation.

Your responsibilities include advising our customers on cloud governance, compliance, security by design and the productive use of new technologies

You will also actively monitor new developments in the areas of cloud, AI, platform operations and automation and make them usable for our customers

Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on our customers and your project situation - you work throughout Germany in our offices, at the customer's site and from home

Requirements

• You have a degree in (business) computer science, mathematics, economics or comparable training
• You have several years of practical experience in cloud architectures based on Microsoft Azure
• You have good knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, architectural concepts and infrastructure design as well as Azure governance, network, security and identity
• You have experience in automation and DevOps/DevSecOps, e.g. B. PowerShell, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD or comparable approaches
• Ideally supplemented by know-how in cloud native, container and data platforms as well as interest or initial experience in the area of Generative AI, Azure AI Services or AI Governance.
• You have a good instinct for communicating complex technical issues in an understandable and customer-friendly manner and have analytical strength, conceptual thinking and enjoy modern technology consulting
• Ideally, you have experience in regulated environments, e.g. E.g. public sector, finance, insurance or KRITIS-related contexts
• You have good knowledge of German (at least B2 level) and English
