Role Summary

• Currently we are looking for the candidate for the position of:
• Senior Accountant with German
• Location: Lodz - hybrid or remote

Responsibilities

• Group and statutory accounting
• Support for month-end closing and consolidation processes
• Handling IFRS and group accounting topics
• Intercompany transactions and group reconciliations
• Group controls, GAM compliance, audit support, and J-SOX activities
• Maintenance of local books in accordance with German GAAP
• Preparation of period-end statutory adjustments and provisions
• Support in the preparation of statutory financial statements (Balance Sheet and P&L)

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in accounting
• Experience in German accounting
• Good knowledge of German GAAP
• German min. C1 (essential for client communication purposes)
• English min C1
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong communication skills with high stakeholder impact
• Flexibility and readiness to handle ad-hoc tasks, including overtime when required
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
• Willingness to travel for up to 1 month (transition from German entity)
