Security Operations Center Centralist

Role Summary

As a SOC Centralist you are the central point of contact for all security reports within an international data center program. From the SOC you monitor a large-scale location and ensure that alarms, incidents and deviations are assessed and followed up quickly and effectively.

A selection of your activities

• Monitoring, assessing and handling alarm reports and security incidents
• Determining the urgency and impact of reports and directing security colleagues or other involved teams for adequate follow-up
• Analyzing available information to place reports in context and accurately assess risks
• Carrying out proactive checks on camera images, access control systems and log files, both routinely and based on specific risk information
• Registering and reporting incidents, actions and findings to ensure a complete and reliable audit trail
• Processing operational security requests, such as access requests, virtual escorts and other supporting security processes
• Identifying deviations, trends and potential security risks and escalating them in a timely manner to the right stakeholders
• Contributing to safe, professional and customer-oriented security services within a critical environment

Requirements

A Security Guard 2 diploma or the willingness to follow Security Guard training.

• Experience in a control room / SOC is an advantage
• A healthy dose of digital dexterity because you will be working with multiple screens and information flows
• You can switch quickly, always maintain an overview and have a solution for every challenge
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both oral and written
• Driving license and own transport
• You are available 24/7

In addition, we offer you

• An hourly wage between €17.37 and €20.70 gross per hour (depending on your experience)
• Fixed job allowance of €1.30 gross per hour
• Irregularity surcharge
• Immediately an employment contract for an indefinite period
• Contract from 120 to 144 hours per 4 weeks
