Security Employee External Patrol Federal Asylum Center 100% (m/f/d)

Role Summary

In the extraordinary and highly exciting working environment of the federal asylum centers, we are looking for flexible and well-groomed employees immediately or by appointment. Together with your motivated team, you are responsible for guarding federal asylum centers. You carry out security-related tasks in a sensitive environment and demonstrate your human and service-oriented tact every day. You will receive specific training for your tasks and take responsibility for protecting people and infrastructure.

Your task as a security employee

• Protection of people and infrastructure
• Preventive action and promotion of the subjective feeling of security
• Patrol activity in the area of federal centers
• Intervention in emergencies
• Supporting the security forces in the federal center in enforcing peace and order
• Dealing with unruly people while maintaining proportionality
• Support during evacuations
• Support, if necessary, compliance with house rules
• Collaboration with lodge service and blue light organizations
• Assist with personal searches
• Guarding during interviews with sometimes unruly people
• Reporting incidents and rule violations to the group leader

Requirements

• Be available and flexible (willingness to work shifts 24/7, including night and weekend shifts)
• Have initial experience in the security sector or in an equivalent area (You have no security experience? We would be happy to support you and carefully introduce you to the area of responsibility)
• German minimum level B1, you also speak another national language or English minimum level A2
• Strong observation skills and attention to safety-related details
• High sense of responsibility, initiative, reliability and confidentiality
• Friendly, calm and professional demeanor even in challenging situations
• Intercultural sensitivity and strong communication skills when dealing with a wide variety of groups of people
• Resilience, ability to work in a team, flexibility and a well-groomed appearance
• Technical understanding in dealing with access control systems, alarm systems and other electronic devices
• Ability to de-escalate as appropriate to the situation and respect human rights
• Possess a category B driving license and own vehicle
