SAP Project Director - SAP Excellence Center - Lyon

Role Summary

With nearly 1,300 employees spread across different regions in France (Paris, Lille, Lyon and Toulouse), the SAP Excellence Center supports the largest French companies in their SAP solution integration projects.

The Lyon agency closely supports clients from different sectors of activity (industry, pharmaceuticals, defense, etc.) in the implementation of SAP and S/4HANA migration.

These clients use SAP to digitalize and optimize their key processes: sales and distribution management, inventory management, financial accounting, management control, etc.

In this context, we are recruiting SAP Project Directors to join our teams.

Responsibilities

You complete the following missions (non-exhaustive)

• Ensure the smooth running of the projects entrusted to you, independently and with the support of the Program Director when required;
• Ensure compliance with commitments made to the client (quality, budget and deadlines in particular), and implement action plans in the event of risk;
• Manage team members, support them in their professional development and well-being at work;
• Manage the relationship with the client and the animation of steering committees while maintaining a relationship of trust and collaboration;

Participate in pre-sales and the launch of new innovative projects.

Requirements

Essential

• You have at least 6 years of experience in project management;
• You have had the opportunity to manage one or more SAP solution integration projects;
• You have experience in ESN and/or project management with contractual commitments to respect, particularly budgetary.

Your behavioral skills

• You know how to rely on the right people within the team, with the right level of trust and control, in order to move the project forward correctly;
• You have the ability to maintain good relationships with team members and obtain their feedback in order to make the best decisions;
• You know how to motivate team members so that they give the best of themselves.

• First telephone exchange with the Recruitment Team, in order to get to know each other and validate the prerequisites for the position;
• HR interview with the Recruitment Team, with the aim of discussing your experiences and your behavioral skills in more detail;
• Operational interview with an SAP Program Director, in order to carry out a detailed assessment of your skills for the position;

Managerial interview with the Director of the Lyon agency, with the aim of obtaining a different assessment and assessing your ability to have "transversal" responsibilities: management, training, pre-sales phases, etc.
