Role Summary
Comply with procedures during the development of activities during your work shift.
Perform sampling tasks to
Shipments of copper and moly under quality standards established in ISO 10251 and 12743 regulations.
Collection of pulp samples from the Plant samplers.
Perform Sample Preparation tasks to
Geology samples, complying with the procedures and assurance and quality controls established at each stage of the process.
Perform Plant Sample Preparation tasks (Cu and Mo), complying with the procedures and assurance and quality controls established at each stage of the process.
Comply with the appropriate controls that ensure the correct operation of the equipment as indicated in their respective instructions (sample preparation and sampling).
Record the QA/QC information for sample preparation (particle size, humidity, weight, volume, etc.) as appropriate.
Develop the necessary actions (cleaning, optimization, verification, maintenance at the operator level) to ensure the correct operation of the equipment, when problems arise during the development of its functions.
Control the appropriate use of supplies during the development of their activities, also inform the supervisor and/or Shift Manager of their stocks and request replacement when necessary.
Carry out other duties inherent to the position that are assigned by your immediate boss.
Implement, maintain and improve the provisions of the Environmental Management System, safety, occupational health and quality.
Requirements
- Engineer/Bachelor/Graduate in Chemical Engineering and/or Metallurgist
- Minimum experience of 4 years performing Sample Preparation and/or Sampling.
- Preferably have knowledge in the preparation and exploration of physical tests.
