Sample preparer

Role Summary

Ensure/Guarantee the preparation of laboratory samples for carrying out analysis, which involves, among other tasks, the reduction, homogenization, division of the raw samples received, as well as spraying to obtain the analysis samples, as well as air drying when applicable.

Ensure the delivery of the prepared samples to the analysis area for testing, together with the respective documentation

Ensure the registration in the file of the data corresponding to each sample, and their identification in the Operating System that applies, according to established procedures, keeping the record updated.

Ensure proper handling and maintenance of all sample preparation equipment under your charge and check procedures for each of them.

Guarantee compliance with the technical, administrative and quality standards and procedures applicable to your area, at the work site

Ensure timely information to your immediate boss about any non-compliant product in your process or customer complaint and/or claim.

Other duties assigned to you, inherent to your position

Requirements

• Academic training: Mining technician / Laboratory technician / Bachelor / official trained in the Organization
• Experience: One (1) month of Theoretical-Practical training in the Company, in the area of sample preparation.
• Technical knowledge: Laboratory quality control according to the NTC-ISO/IEC 17025 standard, office tools (Word, Excel, PPT).
