Salesforce Technical Lead

Role Summary

We are looking for someone to act as Salesforce Technical Lead, with strong technical protagonism and an essential role in the evolution of the company's Salesforce solutions. This position will be responsible for the technical aspects involved in delivering projects and supporting strategic applications, working from the development and definition of solutions to the technical coordination of the teams involved in the complete delivery cycle.

We expect a person with extensive experience in software development and the Salesforce ecosystem, capable of balancing approximately 60% of the time in technical hands-on action — supporting architecture, development, troubleshooting and critical decisions — and 40% technically coordinating squads and partners, ensuring quality, governance, collaboration and operational efficiency.

More than purely technical leadership, we are looking for someone with a systemic vision, strong ability to influence and the ability to navigate between deep technical discussions and executive business contexts, directly contributing to the digital transformation and evolution of Syngenta's engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Technically lead Salesforce squads responsible for the evolution, support and delivery of critical solutions for the business;
• Act as the main technical reference for developers and external partners, ensuring good development, architecture and governance practices;
• Coordinate the complete development cycle — from technical understanding of demand to deployment, support and stabilization in production;
• Work in partnership with business, architecture and solution design teams to translate strategic needs into scalable and sustainable solutions;
• Support prioritization, technical estimates, troubleshooting critical incidents and defining technical approaches for integrations and customizations;
• Ensure technical documentation, integration plans and alignment between onshore and offshore teams;
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and operational efficiency using agile methodologies and modern engineering practices;
• Act in a global context, interacting with international stakeholders and partners in English;

Influence the technical evolution of the team through the adoption of new practices, automations and strategic use of AI applied to the software development cycle.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Salesforce development using Apex, Visualforce and Lightning Components;
• Previous experience acting as a technical reference, Tech Lead or technical leadership of development squads;
• Experience with integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, REST/SOAP, JSON and distributed architectures;
• Knowledge of GitHub, Jira, Confluence and modern code development and governance practices;
• Strong ability to communicate, influence and manage technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Advanced English for working in a global environment;
• Experience working in agile and collaborative environments, with a focus on continuous delivery and operational improvement;
• Hands-on, analytical profile with the ability to act under pressure in critical production scenarios;
• Higher education in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related areas.
