Safety coordinator level A

Role Summary

As Safety Coordinator A you are responsible for the execution of various assignments and audits, as well as for the safety coordination of large-scale construction projects.

At the start of a new site, you organize a consultation with all parties involved and you write specific procedures necessary to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely.

You coordinate the implementation with the application of general prevention and safety principles and you organize safety tours.

You monitor the sites closely, make adjustments where necessary and of course you are present on site during high-risk periods.

Checklists ensure that everything is in accordance with legislation and audit-proof.

You contribute to the implementation of various assignments and audits.

One day you will monitor construction work on container docks, the next day the construction of a petrol station or work on the high-voltage network and if you are interested in an offshore experience, that is also possible!

Requirements

You must of course stand firm and recognize yourself in the following matters:

• A bachelor's degree supplemented with a level A safety coordinator diploma is of course very important for this position (do you already have a level B and are you still working on obtaining level A? That is also possible); thorough knowledge of general prevention and safety principles;
• You get your energy from ensuring that projects run smoothly and safely;
• You have learned to use various computer programs fluently. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, among others, no longer hold any secrets for you;
• You are communicative (fluent Dutch, French is a plus) and can work well both in a team and independently.
