Role Summary
- We are looking to incorporate APR into our team, who will be responsible for advising and supporting
- the management of Safety, Occupational Health and the Environment of the contract or service, ensuring the
- compliance with current legal regulations, SGS internal procedures and standards
established by the client.
Main functions
Control compliance with applicable legal provisions, regulations, regulations and procedures in matters of Safety, Occupational Health and the Environment.
Advise Contract Administration and line of command on the implementation and maintenance of the management system.
Control compliance with the Occupational Health protocols established by MINSAL.
Advise the Joint Hygiene and Safety Committee and monitor its activities.
Prepare and report management indicators associated with safety, risks and accident rates.
Provide visible leadership in the field, identifying deviations from occupational health and safety standards.
Carry out periodic training and training for workers.
Verify the implementation and compliance of the OIMS SGS management system and the standards defined by the client.
Manage and keep updated the records and documentation associated with preventive management.
Support the management of accidents, dangers and non-conformities on the corresponding platforms.
Coordinate activities with the Law Administration Body, including training and industrial hygiene measurements.
Actively promote a culture of prevention, safety and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Title of Engineer in Risk Prevention
- Minimum work experience of 3 years of experience
- Minimum experience of 3 years in the position or area.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office at an advanced level.
- Knowledge of current legislation applicable to Occupational Safety and Health.
- Knowledge of OHSAS 18001, ISO 9000 and ISO 14001.
- Ability to perform operational, administrative, interpretive and technical functions.
- Residence in Calama, exclusive requirement.
