Remote Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney

Role Summary

Note: This position is fully remote, with the option to work in-person at one of several offices across California.

Note: You must have prior workers compensation defense experience and be a licensed attorney in good standing with the California State Bar.

• Handle all phases of workers compensation defense litigation
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trials
• Draft reports, pleadings, and correspondence
• Provide legal analysis and recommendations to clients
• Maintain an organized and paperless case file system
• Collaborate with internal team and client representatives

Requirements

• Prior workers compensation defense experience (required)
• Active and in-good-standing member of the California State Bar (required)
• Comfortable working in a paperless environment
• Experience with MerusCase is a plus
