Role Summary

Get Paid to Mentor Students

We are looking for former management consultants to mentor students who aspire to become management consultants.

• Paid
• Part-time (at least 4 hours per week)
• 100% flexible hours (you set your hours) and is remote (work from anywhere in the world)

Responsibilities

• Practice mock case + behavioral interviews over video call or in-person with a student
• Answer questions about a career in management consulting

We help students and young professionals transition into a career in management consulting. We are a team of former McKinsey, Bain, and BCG Consultants, Managers, Principals, Partners, and Recruiters from across six continents. Since 2017, we have helped over 800 students get jobs in consulting.

Requirements

• Must love mentoring and coaching others
• Able to commit at least 4 hours per week
• Worked at least 2 years at McKinsey, Bain, or BCG in a client-facing role (e.g., BA, Associate, EM, AP, Partner)
• Worked in one of the following locations: US, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, China, Canada, Dubai
• Some of the Mentors We've Had
• Consultant turned writer looking for additional income
• Strategy manager at Google saving up for a wedding
• Former consultant looking additional income after entering non-profit
• Former manager who was in-between jobs
• Stay at home mom looking to break routine
• Startup founder still figuring out product/market fit
• Harvard Business School student who loves mentoring; covering rent, food, and travel during business school
• VP of Fortune 500 who just loves mentoring students on the side

• Unfortunately, we do not work with consultants who are still working at McKinsey, Bain or BCG given the unpredictable schedules, however, we do accept applications from consultants on transition/search.
• We are looking for candidates who left their role with McKinsey, Bain, or BCG no earlier than 2018.
