The Regional Product Manager (m/f/d) EMEA is responsible for the regional strategy, commercial performance and the introduction of new products for the Industrial Communication & Sense portfolio. Working closely with customers, channel partners, sales, global product management, engineering and other cross-functional teams, the RPM translates market knowledge and customer feedback (Voice of Customer (VOC)) into portfolio priorities, differentiated value propositions and growth initiatives.

The RPM has full responsibility for the portfolio's P&L, including sales, profitability, pricing and long-term growth. In addition, he ensures that the portfolio meets the requirements of the market and customers sustainably and profitably.

We are looking for a growth-oriented, customer-focused leader (m/f/d) with strong commercial understanding, experience in cross-functional collaboration and a pragmatic, implementation-oriented way of working. The position is part of the EMEA Product Management Team and reports to the Senior Manager, RPM EMEA, Power & Signal Solutions.

Market and competition analysis

  • Monitoring market trends, customer requirements, demand developments and competitive activities
  • Carrying out market segmentation, competition analysis and benchmarks
  • Participation in the 5-year growth strategy and identification of market and growth potential

Cross-functional leadership

  • Alignment of sales, marketing, product management and engineering with regard to common portfolio goals
  • Support sales and channel teams with training and tools to communicate customer value
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers, distributors, VARs (Value Added Resellers) and other partners
  • Leading cross-departmental problem solving for customer or business-related challenges

Responsibilities

Portfolio and product strategy

  • Develop differentiated value propositions and regional go-to-market strategies
  • Managing the entire product lifecycle, including product launches, portfolio optimization and product discontinuations
  • Conduct portfolio analysis and initiatives to improve profitability
  • Promote PAC opportunities and ensure successful market launch through the Ready-Set-Go process
  • Incorporation of regional market requirements into product roadmaps and future portfolio development

Commercial and Financial Responsibility

  • Responsibility for sales, profitability and growth of the product portfolio (P&L responsibility)
  • Control pricing, including list prices, offers and special price releases
  • Providing demand forecasts for the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process
  • Develop and implement commercial initiatives to increase market penetration and product acceptance

Requirements

What to bring

  • Completed studies in engineering, business administration or a comparable field; Further qualifications are an advantage
  • 7-10 years of professional experience in product management, marketing, strategy development or comparable functions
  • Experience in the areas of industry, electromechanics, connectivity, sensors or interconnect solutions is an advantage
  • Proven success in product launches and in managing product portfolios across the entire product life cycle
  • Strong commercial and marketing skills with the ability to translate market and customer requirements into successful strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and exercise leadership in global matrix organizations
  • Strong analytical, financial, planning and forecasting skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to successfully manage complex priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Fluent English skills; Knowledge of German is desirable
