Real Estate & Expansion Manager

Role Summary

What are you going to do?

As a Real Estate & Expansion Manager you are responsible for the further growth of JYSK in the Netherlands.

You ensure that we open new stores in the right locations, under the right conditions, and optimize our existing portfolio.

Specifically

• You actively search for new commercial retail properties and opportunities
• You build and maintain a network of real estate agents, developers and landlords
• You negotiate rental contracts and optimize existing lease conditions
• You supervise expansion, moving and renovation projects from A to Z
• You make investment analyzes and substantiate go/no-go decisions
• You monitor budgets, timing and commercial conditions
• You manage and optimize the existing store portfolio
• You contribute to the realization of our annual expansion goals

• You are strongly commercial and results-oriented
• You are a persuasive negotiator
• You work autonomously and take ownership
• You think analytically, but act pragmatically
• You bring stakeholders around the table and build relationships
• You speak fluent Dutch and English
• You are ready for a permanent employed position

Requirements

You have experience in retail real estate, leasing, project development, property or facility management and know how to turn an opportunity into a deal.
