Railway Designer (EHI Module under CATIA)

Role Summary

As part of railway projects (rolling stock, infrastructure, or on-board systems), the designer is involved in designing, modeling and validating mechanical and electrical assemblies using the EHI (Electrical Harness Installation) module under CATIA.

The mission takes place in a demanding environment in terms of railway standards (EN, UIC, etc.), safety and collaboration with engineering, production and maintenance teams.

Requirements

• Training: Bac+2 to Bac+5 in mechanical, electrical or railway engineering (DUT, Professional License, Engineering School).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in railway design with proven experience on CATIA EHI.

Skills

• Advanced mastery of CATIA V5/V6, with a specialization on the EHI (Electrical Harness Installation) module.
• Knowledge of railway standards (EN 50126, EN 50155, UIC, etc.).
• Experience in electrical harness design and system integration.
• Mastery of technical data management tools (PDM: 3DEXPERIENCE, Windchill, etc.).

Soft Skills

• Rigor and attention to detail to guarantee the reliability of the systems.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Autonomy and responsiveness to project constraints.
• Good writing skills for technical documentation.
• Languages
