Quality Technician

Role Summary

Carry out activities to check and analyze product quality of the testing laboratory/ control the quality of packaging/ input materials, monitor and update the status of resource usage for quality control activities in the laboratory/ packaging quality/ raw materials (machinery, equipment, chemicals, tools, human resources, ...)

• Effective use of resources, consumables in the laboratory and quality control activities
• Ensure work is completed well and promptly and develop the necessary skills to be able to fully implement testing and quality control methods
• Ensure repeatability and reliability of laboratory results and quality control results

Implement and maintain testing laboratory operations according to ISO 17025 standards, ISO 9001 standards and group guidance procedures and standards.

• Control the equipment in the testing room and maintain proper and stable operation
• Fully report information on inspection results to departments as required
• Implement inspection and measurement methods that are evaluated and approved according to the process
• Apply and follow work procedures and instructions
• Monitor, record and report chemical and spare parts inventory to meet the needs of testing activities and purchase planning
• Apply the new LIMS system fully to control laboratory test samples and digitize information
• Participate and contribute in quality incident investigation sessions
• Comply with Syngenta quality policy and standards are adhered to
• Participate and contribute to continuous improvement to enhance the effectiveness of factory quality control and assurance
• Ensure laboratory/quality control activities comply with HSES regulations

Requirements

Associate's degree or higher in chemistry or related scientific field.

• Experienced in the chemical industry and testing laboratory
• Have knowledge about quality, risk identification, and quality control
• Have experience as a quality technician in the field of quality management or testing laboratory for at least 02 years
• Able to work rotating shifts
• Have experience working in groups
• Able to use office information technology: word, excel, Powerpoint, outlook
• Have basic English ability
• Ability to identify problems and report them
• Ability to work in groups
• Cooperate with colleagues and related departments to achieve common goals
