Project technician/in blow molding (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Supporting the production sites in optimizing and maintaining the production facilities, especially the extrusion blow molding machines
• Implementation of measures to avoid or reduce downtimes
• Managing projects to carry out repairs, overhauls and relocation of production facilities; Creation of schedules and cost plans
• Manual work in assembly/disassembly/repair of machine components
• Cleaning/assessment of components and, if necessary, obtaining and coordinating offers

Coordination of internal and external suppliers with a view to properly carrying out the work and minimizing downtimes in coordination with production planning or the management of the affected location

• Evaluation and documentation of machine states as well as the measures derived from them and management of a corresponding database
• Creation of specifications
• Creation of systematic maintenance plans
• Conducting training in the areas of repair and maintenance
• Creating service instructions and instructions

Requirements

• Completed training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics engineer, technician or a comparable qualification
• Strong planning and craftsmanship skills as well as experience in assembly, disassembly and repair of production systems and automation technology, including service assignments abroad
• Comprehensive knowledge of plastics processing machines, especially extrusion blow molding machines, as well as basic knowledge of extrusion blow molding processes
• Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drive technology as well as knowledge of mechanical processing and tempering methods
• Experience in planning, managing, implementing and documenting projects involving external suppliers as well as in preventive maintenance
• Confident use of MS Office as well as good knowledge of German and English with technical skills
• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience
• Independent, solution-oriented and structured way of working with a strong awareness of security
• Willingness to travel worldwide (up to 40% of annual working hours) as well
• Adaptability, teamwork and learning ability
