Project Quality Engineer_Buyout_PT

Role Summary

Responsible for the quality and technical management of the Buyout (OEM/ODM) power tool product development process and mass production maintenance process. The main tasks include:

As a member of the project team, he is responsible for quality assurance during the product development project, ensuring that samples at each stage of the project meet quality requirements, participating in activities at each stage of the project, and hosting QG quality gate meetings and product quality release

As a member of the project team, he is responsible for process design quality assurance during product development projects, ensuring that the product manufacturing process meets Bosch standard requirements, leading process FMEA meetings and quality release of the entire product production process.

Work with overseas teams to complete the formulation and implementation of project quality assurance plans, product testing plans and audit plans

Track sample testing status, evaluate and summarize test results, and provide basis for project phase approval, reporting or upgrade

Lead or assist in PSS/8D analysis of test failures discovered during projects and mass production, communicate and report with overseas teams, and follow up on customer complaints to promote improvements in product design, process technology or materials, etc., to improve product quality.

• Implementation of engineering and design changes as quality technical support products, verification and quality release of changed products and processes
• Provide continuous support to the quality inspection team on technical and inspection standards after mass production of the project
• Participate in VDA6.3 process audit activities for complete machine suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in machinery, electromechanical related majors
• 3-5 years of experience in consumer product new product development projects
• Applicants with experience in injection molding mold design, metal machining, electronic software and hardware, and power tool project development are preferred.
• Have the ability to lead a team to analyze and solve problems, and master quality management tools PSS/8D, etc.
• Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading and writing, able to communicate and report fluently with overseas team members
• Able to adapt to medium to high intensity business trips
