Role Summary

At AFRY México we are looking for a Mechanical/Industrial Engineer with at least 15 years of experience in projects in the industrial sector.

Responsibilities

• Carry out development for the entire project life cycle (design, development, test prototypes, manufacturing and implementation).
• Develop and implement a plan and processes for the project.
• Verify and validate the project for the execution of the work, evaluating the modifications that it considers appropriate.
• Verify the work schedule and compliance with its deadlines.
• Management of risks, problems and changes that may occur in the project
• Control that the executing company strictly complies with the technical specifications of the project.
• Approve the beginning of the work to be executed, controlling their quality. Once completed, issue the corresponding completion of work documents, authorizing the payment of the estimates.
• Knowledge of specification of materials and purchasing equipment for civil, mechanical and electrical components.
• Technical analysis of proposals and designs from suppliers.
• Technical surveys on the ground.

Prepare documentation and reports for products and processes

• Prepare reports on progress and activities carried out with their respective control indicators and dashboards.
• Availability to Travel

Requirements

• Experience in industrial projects (Food, Energy, Mining, Chemistry and others).
• Experience applying national and international standards.
• Experience in theoretical and practical construction processes

Experience in theoretical and practical production processes

• Solid knowledge of key concepts such as mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, etc.
• Project coordination.
• Coordination and communication skills with other specialties.
• Mastery of MS Office, Autocad 2D (3D software management – E3D preferred), Revit and Navisworks.
• Advanced English.
• Communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Reliable and honest.
• Analytical profile.
