Job description

Location:
Schiphol, NH, Netherlands
Work arrangement:
On-site

Role Summary

Consider

  • CCTV and video surveillance
  • radar and perimeter detection
  • access control and alarm systems
  • control room solutions and integrations

At Schiphol everything is live, everything is connected and downtime is not an option.

What you control must function — always.

Why working at Bosch feels different

At Bosch you work in an organization that is not driven by quarterly figures or shareholder pressure.

  • Bosch is a stable foundation with a focus on:
  • long term
  • quality over haste
  • sustainable relationships with employees

That is why we do not see a first annual contract as “temporary”, but as a careful start to a collaboration that must be right — for both sides.

Here you don't just build projects.

You build trust, craftsmanship and a future.

Your role: bringing peace to an environment that continues forever

As Project Leader Security Systems, you manage complex projects while Schiphol remains fully operational.

That means

  • working in a live environment
  • interact with many stakeholders
  • plans without disrupting operations
  • think ahead before risks arise

You are the one who keeps an overview when the pressure increases.

No standard project management. This is directing in an environment where errors are immediately visible.

What you actually do

From kick-off to go-live

  • Managing projects based on scope, planning, budget and quality
  • Coordinating engineers, suppliers and executive teams
  • Coordinate with Schiphol stakeholders and program organizations
  • Monitoring safety, compliance and continuity
  • Identify and manage risks and changes in a timely manner
  • Organizing progress and project meetings
  • Ensuring controlled and tight deliveries
  • Report on progress, performance and results

You ensure that complex routes remain manageable — without the airport coming to a standstill.

The environment: complex, visible and critical

Working at Schiphol means

  • systems run 24/7
  • work takes place in an operational environment
  • safety is always a priority
  • multiple disciplines work together at the same time
  • any change can have an impact on the operation

This requires someone who remains calm, thinks ahead and dares to take responsibility.

Why this role is different

You don't lead standard projects.

You work on systems that

  • must always be available
  • directly contribute to safety
  • have a visible impact on airport operations
  • function under high safety requirements

What you do determines whether thousands of processes can continue to run safely.

Freedom and responsibility

Within this role you are given room to act.

But freedom here also means

  • take ownership
  • dare to make choices
  • focus on results
  • bear responsibility for quality, planning and returns

You gain confidence — because you are counted on.

Because you

  • want to work on technology that really matters
  • want to make an impact in an environment that never stands still
  • gets energy from responsibility and complexity
  • want to grow within stable and professional projects
  • want to make a visible difference in safety and continuity

This is not a role for people watching from the sidelines. This is a role for professionals who make a difference by delivering when it matters.
