Role Summary
- Advice and support for clients in emissions control approval procedures in accordance with water, waste and pollution control law
- Contact person for authorities, clients and other project participants within the framework of approval and approval procedures
- Participation in project and approval management as well as support in the coordination of technical experts and project participants
- Monitoring and supporting appointment, deadline and process management within ongoing approval projects
- Preparation and processing of permit applications in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and the Water Resources Act (WHG)
- Support with environmental due diligence projects as well as environmental assessments and audits
- Participation in the development of approvable and sustainable solutions for industrial and infrastructure projects

Requirements
Successfully completed university studies in the field of engineering, environmental sciences, natural sciences or a comparable field. Initial professional experience in project work as well as in the area of environmental approval and approval procedures is an advantage. With appropriate professional experience, there are development opportunities to take on project management responsibilities.
Professional competencies
Sound knowledge of the relevant legal regulations, especially in emissions control and water law. Experience in dealing with approval authorities, clients and other project participants is desirable. Secure communication and a professional appearance in the project environment are required. Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English skills round off the professional profile.
Working method & mindset
Strong teamwork and communication skills as well as a structured, independent and result-oriented way of working. Analytical thinking and the ability to process complex questions efficiently make the ideal candidate.
