Job description

Location:
Schiphol, NH, Netherlands
Work arrangement:
On-site

Role Summary

Consider

  • public address systems
  • evacuation systems
  • live audio and alarm facilities
  • network-driven audio infrastructures

Everything is live and linked, so that what you build and manage has a direct impact on safety and continuity at Schiphol.

Your role: making technology function in an environment that never stops.

As an Audio Safety Project Engineer, you ensure that audio and evacuation systems are logically structured, remain technically correct and function reliably — even while Schiphol is constantly changing.

You move between

  • engineering
  • configuration
  • operation
  • changes and optimizations

You ensure that technology and practice remain perfectly aligned.

Working at Schiphol means

  • systems run 24/7
  • changes happen as the operation continues
  • multiple stakeholders are active at the same time
  • safety is always a priority

This requires precision, technical insight and overview.

Here you do not work on “loose technology”. You work on integrated safety systems that directly impact thousands of travelers every day.

Because you

want to work on technology that really matters

gets energy from complex live environments

want to make an impact on safety and continuity

want to grow within a stable international organization

want to build systems that are relied on every day

This is not a role for “ticket clearing” people. This is a role for engineers who take responsibility for systems that should never fail.

Ready to build technology that must always be audible?
