Production operator

Role Summary

• It works in the production of conveyor belts, by:
• › Works on assembly of conveyor belts with steel cables (new and regenerated) on the production line
• › Works on machines for longitudinal joining and duplication of rubber films,
• › Works on a steel cable rewinding line and packs coils of cable into racks
• › Processes the breakdown of the conveyor belt, which is regenerated by applying glue for hot vulcanization of the roughened surfaces of the conveyor belts
• › Unwinds and winds the canvas used for winding raw rubber lining
• › Operates the poison roller and cooler according to the operating instructions and the instructions of the equipment supplier

› Works on drawing rubber foils and tapes of given dimensions and/or rubberizing canvas, as well as making sets for connecting conveyor belts and rubber foils for rubberizing metal surfaces

› Enters data on the realized production and stoppages into the work lists and verifies the work lists at the end of the shift

Requirements

• › Preferably third degree vocational education (minimum elementary school)
• › Willingness to work in three shifts

The Kolubara Univerzal factory was founded back in 1963, and became part of Continental in 2009 as its first acquisition in Serbia. The factory operates as part of the ContiTech division and belongs to the Transport Solutions business unit, with headquarters in Veliki Crljeni, near Lazarevac. The company's main products are conveyor belts for the mining industry, as well as technical rubber products.

In addition to the production program, Continental in Veliki Crljeni has developed a service for the provision of conveyor belt repair services. Our customers are located in the countries of Southeast Europe and beyond. The factory currently employs 160 employees.
