Production manager (m/f/d) – fire protection products at Securitas in Seefeld, BAYERN, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Operational production responsibility
• Management of the final assembly and small series production of fire protection peripherals and ensuring a smooth production process
• Responsibility for production planning, control and capacity planning including ensuring adherence to delivery dates
• Leadership & team development
• Technical management, deployment and qualification planning of employees in the production environment in close coordination with the department management
• Quality, tests & documentation
• Ensuring proper final production, testing, calibration and documentation (including externally manufactured assemblies) according to defined specifications
• Cost & process responsibility
• Responsible for compliance with production budget at cost center level
• Further development and professionalization of production processes in the course of growth (lean/best practice approaches, standardization)
• Standards & Compliance
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, quality and safety requirements (including ISO, CE, DIN, VdS)
• Participation in audits and in the implementation of quality and process-relevant measures
• Interface work
• Close collaboration with purchasing, product management, quality assurance, logistics, sales and department management

Requirements

What you bring with you

Completed technical studies or technical training, ideally electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar.

• Several years of professional experience in production, final assembly or production control - preferably in the area of standardized/regulated products
• Proven experience in production planning, capacity control and delivery date assurance
• Understanding of quality, testing and calibration processes
• Knowledge of ISO and CE requirements; Experience with DIN and VdS specifications is desirable and can be developed
• Experience in the technical management of employees as well as in deployment and qualification planning
• Structured, pragmatic, solution-oriented way of working with a strong hands-on mentality
• Confident demeanor and strong communication skills when dealing with internal interfaces
