Product Operations Manager (m/w/d) - 100% remote

Role Summary

You will take over the operational management of our product portfolio and build the necessary systems, processes and automation from the ground up.

The role ensures that product implementation, forecasting, inventory control, supplier management and internal coordination are controlled via clear processes, clean data structures and AI-supported workflows.

You'll start in a dynamic environment where a lot still needs to be built - that's exactly your job. The initial focus is on operational excellence and building scalable structures. The goal is a resilient operating system for product operations that increases speed, reduces errors and provides management with a reliable basis for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Product Operations
• Operational implementation of new products after product release
• Forecasting and demand planning for core products and launches
• Preparation of repeat orders in coordination with the co-founder & brand
• Ensuring product availability
• Control of inventories, ranges and capital commitment
• Operational launch readiness
• Supplier management
• Operational control of existing manufacturers and suppliers
• Ensuring delivery capability, quality and timelines
• Management of lead times, minimum order quantities and production planning
• Escalation management in the event of delays or quality problems
• Systems, data & automation
• Development and further development of the central product operations system
• Maintenance and further development of ERP, dashboard and KPI systems
• Identification and implementation of automation potential
• Development and automation of workflows – with a strong focus on AI-supported processes
• Reduction of manual activities through systems and AI agents
• Reporting & Transparency
• Transparency about inventory, forecast, product availability and risks
• Monthly Product Operations Reporting
• Building a reliable database for operational decisions

Requirements

• Several years of experience in operations, product operations or comparable functions
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills – you can find your way in unstructured environments
• Strong process understanding and hands-on mentality
• High level of personal responsibility and ownership
• Affinity for AI tools and automation – you actively use them in your daily work

Nice to have

• Experience with merchandise management or ERP systems
• Amazon or eCommerce experience
