EP (Embedded Processing Product Group) has developed a wide product portfolio such as RL78, RX, RA, and RZ for smart home appliances, energy measurement, building automation, and automotive endpoint devices, achieving stable revenue and high profitability.

In order to achieve our medium- to long-term growth target of a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8-12% from 2026 onwards, we are accelerating product development in major growth markets such as industrial robots, building security, IoT applications such as humanoid robots, and AI data center infrastructure.

Strengthening back-end design capabilities is essential to supporting this growth. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced physical design engineer to lead back-end development and promote improvements in quality, performance, and cost competitiveness. As a member of a global team spanning Japan, China, Germany, Vietnam, and India, you will contribute to the development of next-generation semiconductor products by making full use of design technology that utilizes cutting-edge EDA and AI.

• Layout design and verification of MCU/MPU for consumer/industrial and IoT fields,

• ・Layout design (PnR) work (ICC2 / FusionCompiler-BE / Innovus)

Includes floor plan, hierarchical design, power supply design, and analog wiring.

• ・Layout verification (PV) work (Caliber / Pegasus / Voltus)
