Become part of our transport department as Principal Engineer Control and Safety Technology (LST) for railway infrastructure projects and do your part to work for a future worth living.
As our new Principal Engineer LST (m/f/d), you will support us in a variety of railway infrastructure projects and play a part in shaping the transport transition.
Responsibilities
Your main tasks will be
- Accompanying planning (new construction / conversion and expansion) of demanding control and safety technology projects as a plan examiner or person authorized to submit building documents
- As a plan examiner, the examination of internal or external plans for signaling systems with different signal box and level crossing technologies
- As a person authorized to submit construction documents, the professional release of internal or external execution documents for the construction of STE systems
- Coordination of projects with internal and external specialist planners
- Participation in project management in planning (dates, costs, resources)
- Supporting the project management in fulfilling their tasks
- Ensuring compliance with the relevant laws, regulations, standards and regulations in the planning
- Examination of third-party planning results with regard to costs, deadlines and quality
- Support and technical guidance for our own specialist planners in projects in which the role of plan examiner or BVB is not taken on

You will be part of the transport and rail transport department at Ramboll Germany and an important part of our LST planning team. We support the challenges of the transport transition through our commitment to more than 3,200 experts in the field of transport and rail transport worldwide. The Ramboll team in Germany will be further expanded and expanded over the next few years in order to bring in the diverse experiences from regional, national and international projects (example: Fehmarnbelt underpass between Denmark and Germany - the world's longest tunnel for rail and car traffic).

- For the position of Principal Engineer LST (m/f/d) you should also have the following qualifications, skills and abilities:
- Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering or information technology
- Professional experience in LST planning or in the LST specialist area
- Qualification as PSV-PP LST and/or recognition as a STE authorized to submit building documents
- Very good knowledge of the areas of HOAI, VOB, VV-Bau STE as well as the valid legal regulations and relevant DB regulations
- Confident handling of the relevant software systems (e.g. MS Office)
- Interest in complex tasks and networking
- Self-drive, reliability and solution-oriented way of working
- Enjoy working in a structured manner and in a team and passing on your specialist knowledge when necessary
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
