PreMaster Program - Gap Year - Value Stream Logistics

Role Summary

Our PreMaster program is a two-stage qualification program for committed Bachelor graduates who aim to complete a Master's degree. After completing your bachelor's degree, the first phase offers up to 12 months of practical experience to get to know the technical and business context. The second phase includes the independent master's degree at a college/university of your choice. During this period there will be further events and seminars as well as personal support from a mentor on the way to your degree. During your studies, you also have the opportunity to contribute to the company as a student employee.

As a participant in our PreMaster program, you are a member of our Value Stream Logistics area.

As a PreMaster, you will actively support our team in significantly optimizing the value stream for indirect material procurement and making it sustainable.

You get comprehensive insights into all procurement process steps – from material planning to customer order entry. Your main task is to analyze, optimize and actively promote these critical areas in order to implement digitalization in these processes.

You bring in-depth knowledge of analyzing existing processes, identifying weak points and developing efficient, innovative processes. You actively shape the future of our indirect material procurement.

An essential part of your role is to provide significant support in the digitalization of our processes in the areas of material planning and customer order entry in order to increase efficiency and transparency.

You collect relevant data, evaluate it precisely and derive clear recommendations for action for digitalization strategies, which serve as a basis for strategic decisions.

Requirements

Education: Above-average degree (bachelor's degree) in the field of industrial engineering, business administration with a focus on logistics or a comparable course of study and the aim of taking up a master's degree

Experience and know-how: Experienced MS Office knowledge (especially Excel) as well as VBA programming or Power BI, confident handling of SAP, understanding of digital transformation and automation technologies as well as a basic understanding of the purchasing, logistics and sales departments as well as initial practical experience

• Personality and way of working: strong communication skills, team player, customer-oriented, proactive and structured way of working
• Languages: very good German and English
