Pre-Cure Tread Operator (PCT) - Illinois

Role Summary

Occasional lifting/ carrying up to 50 lbs.; and frequent lifting/ carrying up to 100 lbs.

Occasional bending, squatting, climbing stairs/ ladders, and twisting; and frequent reaching

Occasional over the shoulder work

PCT performs daily activities of the PCT production operation of the shift assigned. They will be accountable for the qualify of the product, quantity of the product, and efficiency of the equipment, and keeping the area safe, neat, and clean.

Duties may include extruding the tread, curing the tread, trimming/visual inspection of tread, and buffing/packaging of tread

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 0-1 year of manufacturing experience needed
• No relocation assistance is offered for this position
• ENVIRONMENT
• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
• New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes overnights.
• The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.
• The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

HOURLY PAY

• The hourly rate for this position is $25.30 per hour. This position is also eligible for a quarterly incentive program.
• This role will be eligible for shift differential which is added onto your hourly rate. The additional shift differential is $0.20 per hour for overnight shifts, $0.15 per hour for evening shifts, and $1.00 per hour for weekend shifts.
• Pay rate is based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
