PR- MINERAL INSPECTION ASSISTANT

Role Summary

Guarantee the completion of the physical process of sampling, sample preparation.

Guarantee the accurate, fast and timely delivery of the necessary information to the direct boss.

Guarantee accurate, fast and timely delivery regarding the dispatch and receipt of trucks and weight control by scale.

Guarantee the request of the consumables necessary for the execution of your operation.

Guarantee compliance with the technical, operational and quality standards and procedures applicable to your area.

Ensure proper handling and maintenance of all equipment in your charge.

Ensure compliance with the safety standards established by SGS Colombia and the client in the work area.

Ensure the correct use of protective elements during the execution of the work

Ensure timely information to your immediate boss about any Output or Non-compliant Work in your process or complaint and/or customer appeals

Ensure their active participation in the detection of corrective, preventive actions and improvements.

Ensure active participation in both internal and external audits, scheduled by the Minerals Sector.

Ensure the integrity of the samples collected with the use of the media provided by the company and their adequate registration in the physical and digital formats provided by the company.

Notify the Supervisor and the Logistics Professional (in the areas where the logistics professional applies) at the end of a batch or sub-lot to coordinate the transportation of the collected samples and deliver them to the preparation area.

Report and denounce the loss or damage of security seals to the competent entity. Report to Operations Supervisor/Operations Coordinator/Head of Operations.

Report any attempted or evidence of integrity breaches by third parties or SGS team members to the operations supervisor / operations coordinator / Head of operations / director of operations immediately.

The others that are assigned to him, inherent to his position.

Requirements

Academic training: Bachelor

Experience: Desirable in coal sampling - minimum 2 years

• Carry out coal sampling in the yard and carry out the special sampling requested at the generation plant.
• Package and identify the samples to be sent to the laboratory.
• Assist with loading and moving charcoal bags.
• Assist in taking samples in the plant and carrying out analyzes in the plant laboratory according to the availability of equipment and need.
• Keep the daily log of the coal yard.
• Report any anomalies presented.

• Salary: $1,750,905 / Actual hour worked + hydration assistance (after 9 hours worked)
