• The following classifications can be accepted according to their scope:
• Certificate of Competence issued by universities approved by the Ministry of Mines and Energy, in the following scopes according to the work to be performed:
• Certificate of Competence in Electrical Installations in Transmission - includes high and extra high voltage substations
• Certificate of competence for electrical distribution installations - includes transformation associated with the distribution and transformation process
• Certificate of competence in electrical installations for end use - basic (Includes distribution and transformation associated with end use)
• Certificate of competence in special end-use electrical installations for places classified as dangerous

Certified as an Inspector of electrical energy transmission installations and associated electrical substations, at voltage levels equal to or greater than 57,500 V.

Certified as an Inspector of electrical installations of Distribution electrical networks and associated electrical substations, at voltage levels lower than 57,500 V.

Certified as an Inspector of end-use electrical installations in places classified as dangerous, including their associated installations of: self-generation and cogeneration of electricity with direct current and alternating current voltage levels less than 1,000 V; distribution networks and associated substations, with voltage less than 57,500 V.

End-use electrical installation inspector for special equipment (including elevators, network systems and fire pumps, emergency systems, swimming pools, fountains and similar).

Inspector of special end-use electrical installations (such as high concentration of people, prefabricated buildings, buildings for agricultural or livestock uses, mobile homes, recreational vehicles, parked trailers, and floating and stilt houses).

Inspector of electrical installations for end use other than those in literals d, e, f, g, h, including their associated installations of: self-generation and cogeneration of electricity, with direct current and alternating current voltage levels less than 1000 V; electrical distribution networks and associated electrical substations, with voltage less than 57,500 V.

NOTE: Once resolution 40293 of 2021 becomes enforceable, only certifications of competence required in resolution 40293 of 2021 will be required.

RETILAP

Preferably a minimum of 120 hours of training and updating in lighting and/or public lighting carried out and certified by legally accredited or recognized universities or higher training centers.
