Responsibilities

Plan, direct, supervise and technically and administratively control all required field operations assigned to you.

Report to

• Operations Coordinator, Lead Operations Supervisor, Head of Operations, Director of Operations
• Guarantee that the planning of the required monitoring activities in the field occurs in an organized and controlled manner.
• Optimize the proper use and maintenance of work equipment and promptly inform the Direct Manager of any damage and anomalies that occur in the operation of the equipment under their charge.
• Guarantee compliance with the technical, administrative and quality standards and procedures applicable to your area, at the work site.
• Ensure that you have the necessary work elements or consumables to ensure the normal development of the operation in your charge.
• Ensure the use of materials and consumables received for the operation, ensuring their appropriate and efficient use.
• Guarantee the accurate, fast and timely delivery of the necessary information to both internal and external clients.
• Ensure proper management of all equipment in your charge.
• Ensure that there is the necessary technical support for the proper functioning of the computer equipment and the security of the information.
• Ensure compliance with the safety standards established by SGS Colombia and the client in the work area
• Ensure the correct use of protective elements during the execution of the work
• Ensure timely information to your immediate boss about any non-compliant product in your process or customer complaint and/or claim.
• Ensure their active participation in the detection of corrective, preventive actions and improvement plans.
• Ensure active participation in both internal and external audits, scheduled by the Minerals Sector.
• Prepare quotes and carry out the respective follow-up.
• Visit current and potential clients.
• Prepare reports on the activities they carry out according to what is requested.
• Control the expenses of the operations under your responsibility.
• Ensure active participation in the execution of preparation processes.
• Ensure active participation in the execution of the monitoring and quality control processes required for the process.
• Ensure active participation in the execution of the weighing work and/or registration of controls in the CCLAS.
• Ensure active participation in the quality system registration processes
• Ensure control and supervision over auxiliaries and operators during work tasks
• maintain the good condition of the equipment, facilities or inspection instruments for their respective preventive or corrective maintenance.
• Actively ensure participation in the HSE process and other activities related to safety, health and the environment.
• Guarantee compliance with the technical, operational, administrative and quality standards and procedures applicable in your area.
• Guarantee the request of the necessary consumables for the execution of your operation
• Ensure proper management of all equipment in your charge.
• Ensure timely information to your immediate boss about any non-compliant product in your process.
• Ensure their active participation in the detection of corrective, preventive actions and improvement plans
• Ensure active participation in both internal and external audits, scheduled by the Minerals Sector.
• Optimize the magnitude and purchasing schedule for consumables, use elements and spare parts for the operational area under your responsibility.

Ensure the purchase of equipment necessary for operations

• Guarantee the planning and coordination of all operational activities of the corresponding area
• Assign work, schedule activities, define parameters and operating instructions and deliver them to operators.
• Guarantee the control and supervision of the staff that works in the operational area under their charge and control the operation's expenses.
• Guarantee the delivery of the technical and operational information required
• Optimize the control of maintenance programs and computer systems that streamline operational processes.
• Verify the metrological assurance of the equipment in your charge, which requires it
• Ensure timely attention to any non-compliant product in its process or complaint and/or claim from the internal customer
• Ensure the good management and maintenance of equipment delivered to SGS Colombia in its custody.
• Ensure compliance with the safety standards established by SGS Colombia and the client in the work area.
• Ensure the correct use of protective elements during the execution of the work

Prepare general monitoring reports

The others that are assigned to him inherent to his position.

Requirements

• Academic training: Chemical Engineer, Mining, or Chemist, industrial or for purposes.
• Experience: two years of experience in similar positions.
