Role Summary

What challenge do we propose?

We are looking for a Platform Architect for a banking project, to design and evolve the internal engineering platform as a product that enables teams to deliver software and infrastructure in a coordinated, autonomous, secure and efficient manner, in a hybrid environment that embraces a multicloud, on-prem and Mainframe strategy.

Requirements

Consolidated experience in technical architecture roles, typically 5 years or more in your domain of specialization.

• Demonstrated and in-depth experience in at least one of the corporate ecosystem environments: on-prem (VMware, Kubernetes on-prem) or cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), with an understanding of the hybrid model.
• Experience in the design and implementation of self-service oriented development platforms (Internal Developer Platform).
• Design of CI/CD pipelines with integration of security and quality controls (SSDLC).
• Automation of the infrastructure life cycle through code (IaC) in hybrid environments.
• Kubernetes and container ecosystem: deployment, life cycle, security and networking.
• Architectural design and documentation.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems.
• Direct involvement in the construction phase: making technical decisions in a real context, problem solving during implementation and responsibility for the coherence between the design and what was built.
• Clear technical communication with all technology teams.
• Understanding of the banking regulatory environment as it applies to your domain.
• Internal product orientation: treat the platform as a product with real users.
• Empathy with the development team: design thinking about reducing friction and cognitive load in the delivery cycle.
• Ability to create abstractions that hide complexity without losing control.
