Planner Schiphol

Role Summary

At Schiphol everything revolves around cooperation, safety and timing. As a Schiphol Planner (personnel planner / workforce planner) you ensure that the personnel planning and schedules within the security operation are always correct and that the staffing is in order.

• As a planner you are responsible for operational personnel planning and the optimal use of capacity:
• You create and manage the short-term planning (up to 8 weeks in advance);
• You continuously monitor the occupancy and deployment of staff;
• You solve capacity problems, such as sick reports, leave and extra requests;
• You are responsible for approximately 12,000 plannable hours per pay period;
• You think proactively about peak moments and unexpected situations;
• You coordinate with the capacity planner, operational managers and Planning & Capacity Manager;

You ensure efficient schedules and compliance with collective labor agreements and legislation and regulations.

Requirements

• MBO4 or HBO working and thinking level;
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a role as a (personnel) planner, workforce planner or scheduler;
• Experience with operational planning (for example in logistics, healthcare, hospitality, security or aviation);
• Strong communication skills and the ability to switch quickly;
• A proactive, solution-oriented working attitude;
• Willingness to work on-call duty once every 4 weeks;

Living within a radius of approximately 40 km from Schiphol.
