As part of the development of our activities in the field of supervision in the maritime environment, we are currently looking for a Logistics and Port Supervisor (M/F) on a permanent contract in Guadeloupe (971):

After solid training in our profession, you supervise safety during loading and unloading at the quayside and on board port operations for the refinery or oil depots.

Responsibilities

Your missions and responsibilities consist of

The supervisor ensures that all roles and missions of those involved in maritime operations are well defined and respected. He/She ensures that HSE rules are applied according to the ISGOTT standard. He/She is responsible for the veracity of the information provided to the customer (Qualitative and quantitative):

• Application of customer procedures;
• Ensure the provision of equipment;
• The availability of emergency equipment;
• Supervise and control the operational safety of the installations (start-up, stabilization, shutdown) allowing jetty operations;
• Check the processes for the connections;
• Monitor and control the installations allowing loading or unloading;
• Supervise the proper execution of quantity and quality controls, SHIP'S/SHORE before and after operation;
• Ensure the protection of the site (access/pollution);
• Liaise on board/land with the various stakeholders (navigation staff, port personnel, customers) from an administrative point of view;

Carry out your missions in compliance with ISO and MASE standards (Business Safety, Health and Environment Improvement Manual).

Requirements

• At least Baccalaureate level training, you ideally have a first successful experience in the fields of marine, logistics or security (Navigation, Inspection);
• You are strongly attracted by maritime and port activities and you adapt easily to the particular timetables that they generate;
• Your level of English (fluent: written/spoken) allows you to communicate with port and shipping teams;
• Your interpersonal skills and your sense of responsibility allow you to establish a relationship of trust with your interlocutors;

• We are committed to training you and obtaining the necessary authorizations if necessary (CBT, KRT). IFIA to be obtained if necessary.
