Petroleum Products Operator M/F

Reporting to your Operations Manager, your duties will be:

Role Summary

In the SGS France Natural Resources, Oil, Gas & Chemicals department, the operator, in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, has the following mission:

Reporting to your Operations Manager, your duties will be

• Carry out gauging and sampling on petroleum products (verifications against known data, remote gauges)
• Study the representativeness of the samples
• Report to your manager and comply with HSE rules
• Check that the equipment: (probes, tape meters, samplers) that you use are reliable and suitable for use for operations.
• You record daily checks in the IT tools.

With a minimum of Baccalaureate chemistry training, control professions attract you.

Vehicle and laptop are provided for this position.

The position, on working days, requires travel; the intervention areas are located mainly in the Port de Bouc sector but occasional trips may take place to other agencies (Lyon / Corsica / Sète)

Requirements

• With a minimum of Baccalaureate training, you ideally have a first successful experience in the fields of marine, logistics or security. You like field work.
• You are strongly attracted by maritime and port activities and you adapt easily to the timetable particularities that they generate
• Your interpersonal skills and your sense of responsibility allow you to establish a relationship of trust with your interlocutors;
