You have already gained leadership experience and can lead your team on an equal footing.

You have several years of professional experience in German payroll accounting and have worked with a billing system (ADP or SAP HCM is an advantage).

You are confident in all relevant areas of income tax and social security law.

You have experience in supporting income tax and social security audits as well as SOX controls.

You would like to optimize processes and are interested in continuously developing your team and our payroll department.

You are technically savvy and enthusiastic about AI technologies.

You are experienced in dealing with works councils and can implement works agreements.

Ideally you have already worked with Workday.

Have very good knowledge of German (C2) and good knowledge of English (C1).

You are willing to take occasional business trips within Germany.

As a Payroll Manager (f/m/d) in our team you will:

• Take on the technical leadership and development of your team and be the point of contact for in-depth operational and policy-related questions.
• Identify complex solutions that you will further process with regional payroll management.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and define standards for new processes.
• Create reports and analyzes and present them in international meetings.
• Lead or accompany the company on audits, SOX controls as well as payroll tax and social security audits.
• Responsible for the timely implementation of payroll accounting in Germany.
• If necessary, support our departments and employees in all tax and social security issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant compliance and governance requirements in the payroll environment.
