We are looking for a motivated and ambitious full-time Payroll Specialist to become part of our rapidly growing payroll unit. In this role, you will accompany the company on its way to the next stage of development and therefore have a direct influence on its success.

Start date: now full-time, remote or Berlin
Salary range: €50,000-80,000

your tasks

You will work on exciting projects in the area of payroll. You will work closely with various departments to develop innovative solutions and further develop processes and have the opportunity to work for top medium-sized entrepreneurs or the next unicorn.

You advise our customers on all questions relating to payroll accounting and assist them as a competent contact person. You explain complex issues in an understandable way and help develop individual solutions.

You will actively participate in the implementation of new HR software solutions in order to continuously increase the efficiency of our payroll processes. You analyze and optimize existing processes to save time and resources.

You are responsible for carrying out payroll accounting for a defined group of employees.

You ensure correct and timely billing, in compliance with all applicable tax, social security and labor law regulations.

You are the first point of contact for employees with questions about payroll, income tax and social security.

You take care of clarifying billing issues and coordinate these with internal departments such as HR and financial accounting.

You have completed commercial training or a comparable qualification.

You have professional experience in independent payroll accounting.

You have in-depth knowledge of German income tax and social security law.

You have experience in dealing with billing systems, ideally SAP.

You work independently, accurately and reliably.

You are characterized by your ability to work in a team, flexibility and endurance.

You have good knowledge of spoken and written German. Ideally, you also speak English.
