Role Summary
Partnerships and Outreach Specialist, Enterprise and Procurement Services
Remote within California, Mustreside in California . 20% Travel.
We are seeking a Partnerships and Outreach Specialist to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefiting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. Responsibilities
The Partnerships and Outreach Specialist, Enterprise and Procurement Services will develop and execute outreach, engagement, and communication strategies that increase awareness of and contribute to growing FoundationCCC’s cooperative purchasing programs. Serving as a proactive program ambassador, this role will cultivate relationships with community college and K-12 districts, higher education institutions, cities, counties and other public agencies, vendors, and internal partners to strengthen and expand existing programs
Serve as a proactive ambassador of FoundationCCC’s cooperative purchasing programs, cultivating strong, collaborative relationships with key program partners (vendors, community college districts, K-12 districts, institutes of higher education, cities and counties), and internal teams to improve and expand existing programs.
Plan and execute regular outreach for existing partners, tracking utilization of our program(s) and identifying areas for increased partnership by developing and executing targeted marketing efforts to increase systemwide program adoption and utilization, including in-person presentations, outreach at conferences, attendance at networking events, hosting in-person and virtual workshops, and developing a newsletter and other promotional campaigns
Establish fluency with program contracts to increase contract utilization by community college districts, K-12 districts, institutes of higher education, cities, counties and other public agencies.
Attributes for Success
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive related work experience, at least one (1) of which is in an outreach-driven, external-facing sales, account management, or customer service environment.
- Relevant BA/BS, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both
- Familiarity with California public education internal decision-making processes relative to procurement of institutional needs.
- Understanding effective relationship development, direct outreach and/or sales strategies.

- Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range
- $73,000.00 - $75,000.00
- Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
