Role Summary

Whether you're experienced in the Education or childcare sector, have done some babysitting, this is the first time you're thinking about working with children, or anything in between, THIS is the role for you!

Our Outside School Hours Care service, Anne Hammersley OSHClub , is looking for a passionate Permanent Educator to assist the service and provide engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 19 hours per week (guaranteed minimum).

You will work across split shifts to support the service’s operating hours of Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 8:30am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:00pm – 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!

Working in a team of Educators, you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:

Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!

Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents

Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite

Requirements

  • We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
  • Enjoy working with kids
  • Strong and clear communication
  • Team player with a desire to become a service leader
  • Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
  • Australian work rights
  • Must have obtained or are studying towards a relevant Diploma level qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
