Role Summary

Who will you be working with?

Bearward Engineering is a Northampton based firm manufacturing radiators for the power generation industry.

Responsibilities

  • How will you make a difference?
  • As a member of the Fabrication team, working on the 22:00-06:00 shift (38 hours/week) from Sunday to Thursday, you will be responsible for cutting/drilling and measuring parts, and checking quality of parts.
  • You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.

Requirements

  • Ability to read drawings.
  • Accuracy in measuring parts.
  • Team player with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Practical, hands on.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Willing to work flexibly.
  • Previous use of metal working equipment desirable but not essential.
  • What about the physical demands of the job?
  • A manual environment, lifting heavy equipment.
