Operations Inspector

Role Summary

Conduct thorough inspections and sampling of mineral products to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual specifications.

Carry out the determination and analysis of moisture in mineral samples using appropriate testing equipment and methodologies.

Prepare and document samples for laboratory analysis and testing, maintaining accurate records and chain of custody protocols.

Supervise the shipment of mineral products, verifying proper loading, documentation, and compliance with safety standards.

Monitor and verify product specifications, weight, and quality parameters throughout the inspection and shipping process.

Maintain detailed inspection reports and necessary documentation to support quality assurance and regulatory compliance requirements.

Collaborate with warehouse, logistics and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of shipments.

Identify and report any discrepancies, defects or non-compliance in mineral products and recommend corrective measures.

Requirements

• Completed secondary school and/or Technician in related careers
• Technical knowledge related to inspection of mineral products.
• Skills to accept and adapt to changes and work effectively as a team focused on the client.
